There's a HUGE drum sound here which kind of "hides" the airy vocal - And that's the point!
If it was just Erika's beautiful voice it'd be another pop song by another chanteuse. But with the drums mixed way up it becomes more menacing, something darker ... something hidden.
As part of Brooklyn based trio Au Revoir Simone, Erika Spring has been playing keyboard-based electronic pop since 2003. She's now working on her solo project which will be released July 10.
